On this episode we cover The Chimes of Midnight as a Big Finish classic, a murder mystery that grabs you from the start, a small but effective cast of characters, time not being quite right in the house, and a connection to Charley that changes quite a bit.

Long time listener catching up on the pod. I’m still somewhere in the 6th Doctor era for GTW, but when I saw this one come through the feed I had to skip ahead and listen. I really enjoyed the review, and want to listen to it again with the benefit of your insight.
“The Chimes at Midnight” is in a sense my introduction to Doctor Who. I had a rather dull job at the time and spent an inordinate amount of time listening to BBC Radio 7 on the web. While I was familar with Doctor Who, I hadn’t watched much of it. I have only the vaguest memories of a couple of a few stories running on PBS before it got cancelled
Thank you for returning me to my beginnings with the Doctor.
