Lets Play Windwaker part 2: Sneaking Around Badly

Editors note: Due to new software adjustments sometimes the commentary will fade out..apologies in advance and this will only last in the first two parts.

In this Let’s Play Windwaker the boys get ready to set sail as Samuel talks about his love of weird characters in Zelda save for the disgusting kid, how awesome the pirate theme is, Tetra being the new Navi, sneaking skills go into question, way to many ladders, Moblins dumb faces, why are the games called Zelda anyways, and a boat with no sail appears.

Pre-order Megaman the board game today

Pre-Order the Megaman Board game today

Remember the Megaman Board game we talked about earlier? Well after raising way more than the original kickstarter goal the board game can now be pre-ordered here Jascogames  for about $80 in America, and $95 for those in Mexico and Canada. Right now it’s only available for North America but it is possible for that to change which how much support this game has gotten.

It’s definitely a game I plan to get and actually review for the network at some point. As an avid megaman fan I can’t wait to get my hands on it. After seeing the beta version it’s a game that does justice to the series.

Two tiny characters coming to the new Smash Brothers

little-mac

Two tiny characters confirmed for the new Smash Brothers

So we got a couple of new confirmations about the upcoming smash brothers games. The first being the return of Diddy Kong. In a new picture revealed on the Super Smash Brothers webpage we finally see Diddy in action. This little speedy character certainly added his own brand of chaos to the super smash brothers roster in brawl and he’s come back for more. Looks like he’ll also have a lot of the same moves so for those who liked using this character things are looking good.

The second character is a bit more surprising. Little Mac from the lesser known Nintendo game “Punch Out” makes his way to the roster. Like Wii Fit Trainer, and Villager many fans are a little uncertain about using lesser known characters for the fighting game, but after seeing him in action it looks like a good choice. Little Mac is very quick and powerful on the ground, able to execute several powerful attacks with ease. He has a variety of punches and a knock out meter that powers up during battle that can execute a powerful attack when full; however, he is weak in the air so he is a character to keep on his feet which is understandable since he is a boxer. This tiny character is sure to prove that big things come in small packages.

Lets Play Windwaker part 1: A long climb

Editors note: Due to new software adjustments sometimes the commentary will fade out..apologies in advance and this will only last in the first two parts.

On this Let’s Play Samuel and Jacob finally play on a console with the iconic Legend of Zelda Windwaker as they discover the legend of Hyrule is Scottish, wonder why all versions of Link take naps, see a ladder that’s way to tall, a very complicated pig chase, wonder why a kid can’t blow his nose, see why Samuel loves Links grandmother, the long tutorials of Zelda games, and take care of a bratty pirate.

Finally Concrete news on Watch Dogs for Wii U

Wii U Watch Dogs

Finally some concrete news on Watch Dogs

With all the news on Watch Dogs from rumors, to exaggerations, to cancellations, and delays it’s really hard to put much stock on news about this title. For those who don’t know we’ve already had a rumor of the game being canceled on the Wii U which turned out to be just a computer glitch that everyone over reacted to. Then we had the controversy about the trademark being dropped but that turned out to be done by hackers and that turned out to be another bit of misinformation.

Here’s the real news. Watch Dogs will come to Wii U sometime after April 1st this year.  That’s concrete and that is Ubisoft’s current plan which came from Ubisoft themselves so we can say for sure this is the actual news about the game.  For those who plan to get the game for the Wii U just sit back, relax, and better not look up Watch Dogs on google because with all these misinformation articles up and about it’s really hard keep up with what’s going on. Rejoice in the fact that it is coming to Wii U and rest easy because that’s not going to change.

Assassin’s Creed Board game

AC Board Game

Assassin’s Creed Board Game

Assassin’s Creed has made their way to the table top games as they plan on releasing Assassin’s Creed: Arena on the 26th of this month.  Ubisoft has partnered up with Cryptozoic Entertainment, makers of the Walking Dead Board game, in order to bring this game to life.

While we haven’t seen this game in action one thing is clear, there are a lot of rules as can be seen with the huge rule book in the picture above Ubisoft had this to say. “It’s very high-risk, high-reward and has a lot of rules.”

The game is a strategy game where players try to get the most points by taking out other players, targets, and avoiding guards.  There are action cards, event cards, tokens, a dice, and it plays up to four players. For those who are a fan of Assassin’s Creed and board games this looks like a must have and you can preorder it here. https://store.cryptozoic.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=ASSASSINSCREEDARENA_GAME

The game is $50 and will be available February 26th.
