As we all know Robert Downey Jr., best known as Iron Man, loves to talk and luckily he has a lot of interesting things to say. Most of what he talks about is the possibility of Iron Man 4 but with all the yes, no, maybe comments it’s really hard to say; however, he also had some stuff to say about the Marvel Universe, Sherlock Holmes, and Doctor Who?
Robert Downey Jr. answered several fans questions on reddit and while it’s really not helpful to know what kind of pizza he wants to be he did state that he wants to do a cameo on Marvel Agents of Shield. He also stated that there “might be a fair amount of red tape involved.” So while he wants to be on Shield this pretty much confirms it won’t happen this season. He also dropped a huge fan service to Sherlock Fans by stating a Sherlock 3 is currently in development. He also talked about his admiration of Benedict Cumberbatch’s interpretation of the London Detective. Then there is the teaser of this article the Doctor Who bit. Downey was asked if he would want to appear on Doctor Who and he replied with this. “It’s funny you’d bring that up. A writer asked me to watch a particular episode about a month ago, in hopes of helping us break a story on a project. An incredible series, Anything’s possible.” So essentially Robert Downey Jr could become a legend in the eyes of nerds everywhere. Avengers, Sherlock Holmes, and Doctor Who. What a combination if it all happens.
